BOSU® Next Generation Balance Training


BOSU® Training goes far beyond balance training! In this Course you will learn the next generation of theory and science behind neuromotor training, and apply that science to practical programming that is purposeful and fun. Experience NEW methods to enhance movement technique and create exciting workouts with the BOSU® Balance Trainer. 

Using the updated BOSU® Exercise Library, you’ll practice all of the skills necessary to deliver two dynamic total body workouts that can be integrated into training programs or classes for clients of all fitness levels. Take the versatility of BOSU® Training to a whole new level and be prepared to amplify results! 

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
Explain the benefits of neuromotor training with an emphasis on balance, coordination, reactivity, gait, agility and proprioceptive training. Discuss the new BOSU® methodology for organizing base movement patterns and the variables used to modify each exercise. Demonstrate coaching and teaching techniques for different learning styles and skill levels
Effectively coach or teach all of the exercises in the BOSU® Exercise Library with progressions and regressionsCourse Duration:

BOSU® MINDFUL MOVEMENT & MOBILITY


In this evolved body weight training workshop, explore multi-dimensional methods to effectively create a stronger body and improve core function. Utilizing the unique features of the BOSU® Balance Trainer and the principles of fascial line training, learn movement complexes to build total body strength, stability and mobility, with a focus on integrated, mindful movement. Examine common mobility and stability imbalances and discover how to correct them by creating movement efficiency through the trunk, hips and shoulder complex. Practice breathing techniques that will enhance core activation and enrich the quality of every movement. Prepare to be challenged with advanced training techniques and new ideas!

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
Explain the benefits of mindful movement training and the concept of movement quality over quantity.
Discuss and demonstrate examples of stability / mobility imbalances and appropriate solutions
Understand the fascial matrix and principles of fascial line training
Demonstrate detailed exercise breakdowns for each movement complex with progressions and regressions
Teach several exercise complexes with breathing techniques and mindful movement cueing

​BOSU® ADVANCED PROGRAMMING STRATEGIES


Are you ready to elevate your BOSU® programming strategies and increase your value as a fitness professional? Learn how to create effective and exciting workouts with three unique templates that are designed to make BOSU® training more successful in your club, classes and training sessions. Experience dozens of new exercises, skills, drills and sequences, practice formatting them into workouts, and discover the best teaching and coaching techniques for each type of workout. Come prepared to be challenged with some advanced programming techniques, and walk away with a whole new perspective on BOSU® workouts and lots of fun new ideas that you can use on Monday morning!

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
Explain the benefits of good program design and how to manipulate workout formats to achieve specific training goals
Demonstrate three Toolbox style programming sequences, with at least five modifications and variations for each base skill
Using the Matrix programming style, demonstrate and explain 2 sequencing and timing options that could be used to organize movement patterns into a workout
Effectively teach 2 Fusion style programming complexes that focus on multi-planar, multi-directional and multi-part movement patterns  
Discuss the different teaching/coaching techniques that are most effective with each style of program design
